President, Founder, MicroGrow Greenhouse Systems Inc.

Directly out of college, Tom started as an apprentice electrician for IBG greenhouses in Monterey County in 1975. In 1979, he was a founding partner in American Controls located in the technical pioneering “Silicon Valley”. They developed one of the earliest computer based greenhouse control systems. In 1980, he obtained an electrical contractor’s license and started Pacific Environmental Controls, now known as Micro Grow Greenhouse Systems. Micro Grow has designed and installed thousands of systems for controlled environment agriculture throughout North America and many additional countries.
