Located in Harris Bricken’s Seattle office, Jim currently represents a wide variety of clients in the cannabis industry, including ancillary businesses. Jim frequently writes for Harris Bricken’s Canna Law Blog, and he also regularly speaks on local, state, and federal tax issues, especially those related to the ever-changing cannabis industry and the regulations governing it. He is a former chair of the CLE (Continuing Legal Education) Committee of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) and he recently served two terms (2014-2016) as Chair of the State and Local Tax Committee of the WSBA.
