Steve Byrne

Steven Byrne has nearly 10 years of experience working in State and Local Government, having served as a Government Relations professional, Chief of Staff in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, and elected member of the Board of Selectmen in Arlington. Before joining TSG, Byrne served as a Government Relations Specialist for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, the regional planning agency for the 101 cities and towns in the Metropolitan Boston Region. Prior to his work at MAPC, Byrne spent several years working for Representative Mark J. Cusack, first as his legislative aide and later as his Chief of Staff. In that role, Byrne managed the Representative’s legislative and budget priorities and assisted in the development of the scope of work for House Committee on Technology and Intergovernmental Affairs. Byrne has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Policy from Northeastern University and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Connecticut College in New London, CT.
